About

Findia was a charity, art and journalism project run by a young, socially engaged team from Austria. Across two trips through India, the team gathered first-hand accounts on topics rarely covered by newspapers and television, and published them in their own multimedia formats.

Alongside this, the team used the proceeds from the Children:Street:Art artworks to support the children's rights centre and girls' home Baale Mane, as well as other local NGOs.

Art projects as a space of expression for children in need

WHY THE PROJECT CAME TO BE

Born from the wish to show India beyond common imagery — through conversations, observation and research on the ground — while helping directly on site instead of merely reporting.
